Q:Fatalism is far from the point. That's what I mean by arrogance. Christians think they actually know the atheist position. "They're nihilists, fatalists, etc." It's sad to watch in all honesty. You attempted to make my claim look ridiculous and I'm supporting my claim. Yes, every time someone murders, they fall into those categories or they are the victim of a cyst growth. There's no volition involved. You've still to suggest another reason why people murder.
I’ve failed to suggest another reason because there are to many reasons to list. The motives for murder are as varied as the people who commit the crime. It is up to a court of law to decide what is murder and what isn’t. Something as small as the position of the body can change the verdict from self-defense to murder. You are suggesting a black and white system for determining murder that simply isn’t practical, nor is it actually the case. Murder is quite simply motive based.
Stop me when I’m wrong but, you are basically saying that murderers are predetermined to murder by their cognitive faculties. If they cannot obey the law “thou shall not murder” then that must mean that they are incapable of doing otherwise. So how is that not fatalistic? I’m not attempting to make your claims look ridiculous I’m just restating them premise by premise.
